Milled grains in morning. Measured out water night before. With HLT temp at 168 hit mash temp a little high (150F). Added a few ice cubes to bring down to 147F. Good clarity on the vorlauf. Did about 30 min total |

Got to 7.5 gallon on transfer to kettle. PH of late runnings down to 4.5. Should be ok for not extracting tannins |

Boiled 60 min and added hop additions as listed. Naturally cooled for for about 30 min with fan before running through chiller |

Pulled off 4 litres to jug and pitched Kviek Voss yeast form Escarpment. Added a litre of boiled water with 1lb of table sugar because only had unsed 1lb of two in boil since thought I was a bit high. With yeast slurry ended close to 18 litres in main fermentor with B48 Triple Double |

Lots of Krauezen still. Nice colour but tast has a sharp alcohol note, which is probably some early fusels that should be cleaned up by the end

Mix of bombers (4), flip top 500s (4) and 340s (4) plus about 13 litres in keg and still 3.8 litres of Kveik yet to bottle. Had crash cooled and chilled for about 5 days before packaging. Seemed to carbonate quite fast with 30lbs overnight |
