Put chiller in boil @ 10min, tested the chiller and didnt see that it was no longer boiling. Turned back up to high heat and cut the chiller, and it took about 5 min to come back up to boiling. Added orange zest @ 5 min.
Used Ice bath after chilling to 120F. Took about 30 min to chill to 72F. |

Smell is mild w/ very little orange. Taste is good with wheaty/hoppy notes. Going to add orange peel (sanitized in vodka) along with dry hop (1 oz mosaic) for a couple days then force carb.

Used corny ball lock purchased from Farmboys. Was leaking from lid when I first tested it, then I removed lid and reinstalled and seemed to be sealed.
Pressured to 30 psi then rolled keg for about 4-5 min. Set the reg to 20 psi and put in keezer. |

Still a bit hazy from the wheat, but that's expected. Nose is nice with the orange peel still lingering and mosaic hops. Taste of the base beer and the extracts added at kegging is much more harmonious than 2 weeks ago. Very easy to drink. Took about 3.5 - 4 gallons to a crawfish boil (10 or so people drinking it) and it was gone about 2 hours before the party ended. Got very positive compliments on the beer. |
