Hello Brewer,
Going to be brewing with a buddy on Fri. 3/15/19. Looking for a basic easy drinking beer to share with others in the spring/summer of 2019. The goal to mock the lawnmower beer made by a St Arnold's Brewery and spice up the taste, but not being to hoppy. I want to draw other outsiders into brewing and will invite over some acquaintances. Want them to know that they don't have to settle for crappy commercial light beers.
St. Arnold's Brewery actually made a solid beer that ended up being a staple in their line up and what started out as mockery of a summer beer, but actually lead to a solid beer still brewed today. That is what I am seeking instead of the higher ABV and standard seasonal beers made over the last 9 years.
Really looking forward to trying the lager out on my new stainless steel conical fermenter arriving early next week. She is called a "213-FE820 Brew Bucket Brewmaster Ed. 7 Gal." This should be easy to clean,
Try it out sometime to share with the non-brewers in your neighboring communities.
