Prepared starter with extra light DME to starting gravity of 1.042. Pitches 1 pack of Safale US-05. Places on stir places with foil cover. |

Added ~1.5 tsp gypsum and 1/3 tsp calcium chloride to mash water prior to grain. Target initial mash temp was 145 deg F. Heated strike water to 165.5, added grains, temp dropped to only 153 deg F. Mashed total time at that starting temp. for 60 minutes. Water to grain ratio 1.25 quarts/pound. |

Measured gravity and added 2 Oz. Amarillo and 2 Oz. Citra dry hop. Installed airlock. Tasted decent but had a bit too much coffee taste and aroma. |

Primed with 3.3 Oz. Corn sugar for 2.4 volumes CO2. Bottling wand clogged several times with hop matter. Yielded 38 x 12 Oz bottles.
