Starting strike water 170F
Let cool to 160F
Added grains at 151F
Finished at about 146F.
Needed more water and should have added grains at 170F.
Only had about 5.5 gallons of wort at the start of the boil. |

Needed another 2 to 2.5 gallons of water. Lost about 0.5 gallons to trub in strike water.
Lost about 1.5 gallons to trub and water left in the hot liquor tank. |
