Mashed in 66c did dog training returned 3 hours later. Return mash temp 50c raised back to 75c for sparge. |

Raised to 75c mash out after 3 hour mash sparged 5 it at 75c sparge was even nice and smooth. |

Dry hopped 20g Chinook and 15g galaxy fermentation is slowing down raised ferment temp to 21c. |

Sample bright orange colour smells sorta mellony fruity. Tastes pretty clean but has a prickly taste going on. |

Transferred to keg today. No geletin. Used new hop ball to cold dry hop 20g Chinook. Had 1 it left over in fermentor. |

Took the hop ball out yesterday. At first the pine dank thing was overwhelming. But today 1 day after removing hop ball or maybe an ageing thing it's smoothed out some. It's actually a well rounded beer not too bitter quite drinkable just resinous pine bomb not up my alley. Good grist though and great head great body. |

That hop flavour is still there in dankness not really my thing nothing wrong with this beer. Great head retention good full body and flavour but I recon the hops could need dialing back and paired with something more fruity floral will bring this beer forward more. |
