Mashed in 66c but recirculation dropped to 1.062 for awhile then stepped it.back up to 66c timer wasn't set at start. |

Second stepped to 71 for 20 then stepped to 75 to Finnish. Sparged 5lt 75c sparge was good nice even flow. Hot break nice and creamy decent break wort tastes nice and sweet malty.
Grabbed 2lt wort 10 min into boil. |

Boil went well took 2lt of wort durin boil so really 22lt end kettle. Hops added as per recipie. Wort nice and pale malty. |

Fermentor volume was a tad above 21 so 21.5lt really. |

Added 20g Wakatu dry hop 2 days ago raised ferment temp to 19. Fermentation looks done today will take gravity this evening. Power went out day 3 on fermentation temp rose to 21c. |

Fermentation is crawling along now there is still a krausen on top but has reduced from the massive 5 inches to 1. Tastes peppery oh no will leave
It at 20c for another 2 days and pray it cleans up. |

Keg gone today tipped last 1lt out to make room in chamber. Kolsch cleared eventually and was drinking well towards end but not best version recon 1st was a good kolsch. May try different yeast. |
