Overshot mash temperature by 1 degree. Lost time getting HERMS coil ready and decided to skip 69 degree step and go straight for 75. The HERMS system was relatively slow -- we had to heat the immersion water to well above the target temperature -- so it took quite a bit of time. Finally got to 75 at about 11 am, 2 hours after mash start. Then started to sparge. |

Looks a bit like we overshot the target of 1.049 here. The volume collected was definitely correct, or if anything slightly over. So the mash efficiency (81%) was probably better than the default settings ... need to check. |

Boil time ended exactly on 2 hours. Seems a little less evaporation than system default and higher than expected gravity indicates that efficiency was up, as per mash efficiency. |

I can't measure actual volume in fermenter, So I estimated the losses to the boil kettle and hops and pump etc as about 1liter. |
