moved to secondary and dry hopped with the three ounces specified in the recipe. First taste is amazing. Lots of chocolate and grain complexities that follow by a lingering bitterness that tantalizes your bitter taste buds lingering untill the next drink.

This beer is very delicous. It may be the best Black IPA I have ever tasted. Do I dare say that? I drank almost two glasses of it while bottling because even warm and flat it tastes so good I couldn't help my self. After the 7 day dry hop the beer has a nose that makes me want to sniff it instead of drink it. Perfect!

Notes

Toast flaked adjuncts in oven on 350 degrees until lightly roasted and the whole house smells of fresh baked bread. This will add another level of complexity to your beer and make for a superior Black IPA.

Steep grains at 150 to 160 degrees for 45 mins with just enough water to cover your grains then rinse grains with 1.5 gal of 170 degree water.
