Just speculating on the numbers since it was done as a double batch with Group Rye'd |

Probably took too much wort over to this batch since volumes outpacing the expected numbers. Did a 1L pot of 2oz steeped cararye, candi sugar and 1oz sweet orange peel. Candi sugar didn't bring gravity up as high as expected. Doing this separate step also created timing issues with other brew |

Pitched Workhorse B51 into 62F wort. Lots of aeration and moved fermentor inside |

Lovely Belgian flavour. A bit of rum and spicy malts. Would have liked the colour a little darker but still think this will be a great beer. |

Looking fairly clear already. Flavour is coming along. Somewhat saison like |

Bottled a few bottles and finished the keg. Super clear and clean drinking at this point. Flavour is still a bit saison like but there still is a nice layering of flavours with the yeast , malt and candi syrup |
