New process brought down the temp quickly.
1) Ice in the beer fridge using the plastic egg crates.
2) Immersion chiller until temp is 120 degrees.
3) Put kettle in the tube with 4 - 6 inches of water and the ice from the egg crates.
The temp dropped to 65 degrees in 25 minutes!!! Total time from start of cooling to pitch was 45 minutes max.

Very sweet. Just took it out of the frig. First step is to heat to 70 and then go up from there. |
