Packaged 42 12-oz bottles; left a little in the bottling bucket; may have left a little too much in the fermenter; FINING WORKED! Very clear sample pulled |

Aroma is very fruit forward; peach, orange, citrus; taste is very similar; almost like a peach ring but not fake tasting; might be from the Azacca additions; solid hop combination IMHO; good bitterness level; doesn't stick around but gives the bitterness you want from an IPA; malt is still lacking something; no real off-flavors that I can taste, but the body is a little thin; not sure if this is a matter of ingredients or process |

Bottles oxidized way too quickly; pouring from the bottle, you can see a purple hue around the edges of the liquid; head has the same tinge of purple to it as well; yeast slurry at the bottom of bottles tells the story; very dark purple (blackish purple) and broken into laced pieces of yeast; looks like small grass clippings or some other kind of earthy matter in the glass if any makes it in; pretty disappointed in this one; bottling process? |
