Malty and smooth like a Bavarian ale should be. Has a bit of a fruity almost apple taste. Like roasted apple in a pie, minus the cinnamon and sugar. It's refreshing, and will brew again. Also worth noting it's the clearest beer I've ever brewed. After just one week in the keg and a little gelatin added on day 2, it's almost completely clear. Reminds me of a great lager. Should be served ice cold. |
