Ferment 64F for four to five days, bump to 68F till fermentation completes.

(lower the amount of GP) Try with 3 lb Golden promise and 3 lb pale malt
Raise the Mash temp 152-154
Try WLP095 or WLP001

Was able to compare to a can of Fortunate Islands. The actual fortunate islands from the can was definitely more bitter.
