I realized after the boil and i transferred to primary that I did 2.5 gallons rather than halving the original 5.5gal recipe. I added enough water to make 2.75 gals which brought the OG down to 1.048. I read that the Nottingham yeast works best at lower temps, so I am putting this one in the garage for primary. |

Slightly under carbonated. Very malty and caramelly. Great beer, similar to Newcastle without the skunk off flavor. Would like it to have a bit higher ABV, maybe add a pound of brown sugar next time |
