First brew in about three or four months so just cleaning everything down and getting going again.
The Maris otter is the sack I got from Mark last year of uncrushed Barley, which I crushed freshly for the brew, so will be interesting to see how that comes out.
Remainder of the kit was bought from Malt Miller back on the 28th of May, so also will be an interesting test.
Didn’t use the timer with the mash tun so all mashed without soaking.

Not bad, but you can tell it's lower ABV; a bit 'thin' compared to how it was intended. Remember - this was a kit of crushed malt that was in the garage all summer waiting to be brewed. |
