Heated 6 gallons of strike water to 175 degrees. add 4 gallons to mash tun. Placed remaining water in hot liquor tun. Heated another 6 gallons of water to 210 degrees and left in boil kettle for approx. 25 min untill Sacch' rest was complete. Mash out for 10 min - took 4 gallons of 205 degree water to raise temp from 152 degrees to 169 degrees.
Re circulation and batch/fly sparge with 170 degree water from HTL keeping 2-5 inches of water above grain bed until 7 gal of wort collected. |

Bottled in 22oz brown bottles. Added 2 each Mangrove Jack Carbonation drops to half of the 22 oz bottles. Added 3 each Mangrove Jack Carbonation drops to the other half. Note: expiration date on tablets was Sep 2016. |
