This bear was a great success according to my friends and myself. Due to the use of a single hop, Simcoe, this recipe is a great opportunity to taste the flavors of this hop without being mixed by other hop flavors. The downside of this bear was that somehow the yeast didn't flocculated very well at the bottom of the bottles which resulted in a lost of yeast in the glass. Precautions will be taken for this next time we brew this recipe. |
