It was nice to complete a brew with the pump staying on. This was enjoyable from start to finish. I'm looking forward to tasting the spices in this beer.
-Anything major happen
-Cooling took a bit as we are still dealing with a leak. I'd love to invest into a chiller that can go into the Grainfather.
-During the sparge the water really poured through the grain. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with efficiency issues. I've never had water just pour through the grain; had to be something to do with the crush. |

11 hours and still no fermentation. Temp in the room was reading 64 so we increased the heat to get to 67. |

Found a second error in the grain bill. I had entered in another amount as LBS and not OZ. Our numbers have improved since updated the information.
Fermentation took off on the 19th around 1 pm. |

Really thin as a result of the 4% oat grain percentage. Carbonation issues as we used the minimum requirements for a stout and this has resulted in a few bottles have little to no carb. Overall the spice and aroma are there we just made errors in the grain bill and the priming sugar. |
