Stuck mash. Poor run through and poor temperature regulation. Could be due to the pumpkin which was more fibrous and squashed this time (rather than baked cubes of pumpkin) |

Only got 42 litres pre-boil, again must have been due to the slow run through and pumpkin fibres which stuck the mash.
Made up to a pre-boil of 45 litres with 3 litres of boiling water added to the sparge |

really tricky mash, pump issues with restricted flow and missed the boil volume by 10% so had to add extra boiled water on the bed of grains in the mash...not a smooth brewday |
