Note: using new BIAB bag for this (the Brew Bag) with 400 micron mesh. Wow, what a difference with recirculation. Works so much better than old bag. We'll see if this impacts efficiency, but the added recirculation helped to get mash temps to near perfect without any trouble. Kept between 150-152 the whole time. Skipped mash out but did do protein rest. |

Starting to see fermentation activity, but still quite slow. Must not have had as many viable yeast after the starter as anticipated. Hmm. The date on this was mid-July, so it should have been okay. Frustrating! |

Yeast don't seem to be very active. Hopefully this will kick in soon, but very strange that there is little activity after nearly 24h. |

Fairly slow and steady fermentation since Monday but just starting to really slow down now (currently at around 1.018). Will shortly do diacetyl rest and then this should be done. |

Quick Carbed for about 1hr. Tastes very nice with good white head and fairly clear already. Clean and crisp but with some maltiness. Wonderful! |
