Notes

2L yeast starter from 001 harvested from starter on ~7/23.

Heat 25 quarts to 162 degrees. Mash in 75 minute mash at 148.

From 2.4:
MALT CHANGES: Oats back in for body, kept some Copper malt (carapils) partly for color and partly because superstition.
Last version was a little cloying, so took out 20L crystal.

HOP CHANGES:
Took out Columbus and Cascade entirely.
Just Apollo bittering (estimated AAU based on 200 days storage), Mt Hood 30.
Ekuanot at flameout to supplement Amarillo+Simcoe
Simcoe+Mackinac for dry-hop, emphasize tropical and pine and less orange juice from Amarillo.
