Notes

Christmas spice extract is made by adding 2.5 oz overproof vodka to a container containing 3 cinnamon sticks, 2 vanilla beans, 1 small ginger root (sliced and roasted), 1 tsp whole clove, 1 tsp whole allspice, 1/4 tsp grated nutmeg, and 1 tbsp dried sweet orange. The extract is then strained and added on bottling day.
