It was hot and muggy for brew day - in the high 80s. We had a hiccup with the plate chiller, and it did not get as cool as normal. The counterflow waters was hotter than normal as well. That all resulted in a temp of 88 degrees F into the fermenters. High. We put in cool basement temp of around 60-65 to wait for fermenters to cool down before pitching yeast. |
