I'm starting with Crystal Geyser water. Relatively soft (60 ppm in terms of alkalinity) no chlorine and small amount of calcium Doing 8g of both gypsum and CaCl for 8 gallons of water. Will give a good match of sulfate and chlorine in the water as well as lowering the residual alkalinity in our mash for the lighter color. |
