Boil 85%main element 35% kettle element. No scorching. Boiled 60. Added 45g Cacao nibs ground and 30g cofee ground into whirlpool @80c let drop over 20mins .
Transfered 600ml to starter flask and 23lt into fermentor.
Taste was more chocolaty roasty burnt type flavour not much coffee but hard to pick alot going on. |

Sample does taste cocholaty but I feel it might be just a bit thin on the mouthfeel I'm getting a bit of astringency.
Will prob add more cacao nibs |

Added 36g cacao and one pot of coffee into fermentor saw quite a krausen so I'm imagining fermentation is still underway. |

Transfer went well
Tastes like I remember head sucks though may come good with time lovely body little bitterness maybe the old hops though.
A good beer worth doing again. |

Very tasty head retention sucks not sure why but maybe something to do with the nibs.
Smooth choc coffee aromas would like to add some vanilla I think this could take it too the next level also I rekon double the oats and maybe toast them for added complexity. |
