Notes

Brewed on 4/16/11
Steep grains at 165 F for 30 minutes. Add to boiling water. Add 1.0 lbs LME, add 1.0 lbs rice syrup, return to boil. Add 1.0 oz Saaz hops. Boil for 40 minutes. Add 3.3 lbs LME and boil for 15 minutes. Peel and chop two oranges. Add peel, pith, and pulp to wort. Add Irish Moss. Add 1.0 oz Mt. Hood hops. Return to boil and boil for 5 minutes.

Bg = 1011 on 5/29/11

Notes: Very good lite ale with a hint of orange and good malt/hop balance.
