Used 1g Chalk/Calcium Carbonate, 2g Gypsum, and 5g Calcium Chloride (after steeping 1# Caramel 40) to the water, and before adding extract (before the boil). I'm not sure if this will affect the beer since this was an extract batch and had no mash. I measured a pH of 5.2 after steeping grain and adding Water Salts. |
