Notes

  • Mill grain twice

  • Try sparging in blue bucket while kettle heats up

  • Primary ferment for 3 weeks in bottling bucket, with new airlock & blowoff hose

  • Bourbon soak vanilla bean (just to cover) & oak cubes (4oz bourbon) separately for 7 days

  • When racking to secondary, add vanilla bean with its bourbon, and the soaked oak cubes (maybe without its bourbon)
  • Secondary for 1 week in primary bucket, with normal airlock
