WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Typical of all my non-recipe brews, I am trying for a very strong, dark and warming brew for the colder months. My favorites are the darker, "chewier" styles that you can savor for a long while. Good cold, room temp or just sipping at whatever moment happens to be appropriate. I maintain that the best rewards come, not from another's labors, but from ones own heart. I will continue to choose my brewing contents by taste, smell and gut feeling.
