1099 yeast wasn't progressing in the starter so pitched a jar or harvested 1272 and starter came alive soon after. Assumption is that both yeasts will have some influence |

Taste is coming along. Gravity should drop another 4-5 points yet. Lots of chocolate, some silky oats and maybe a hint of raisin |

Carbed and tasting good. Fairly rich and chocolaty. Nice oaty mouth feel. Maybe a hint of raisin but it's faint. Hops are present but don't stand out too much. Nice beer |

Developing well. Carb level is good. Comes across silky with a hint of sweetness from the Spec B. Roast from Black malt comes through but could be a little more roasty - note to add some roasted barley next time |
