Left an unusually large amount of sediment (floc) in the boil kettle. Used 1/2 tablet of WhirlFloc. Would a whole tablet have done any better? Will never know. |

Day 1, 20 hours after pitching yeast-
Fermentation proceeding nicely with moderate pace due to the fact it's only 63 deg F, as I didn't have time to connect the heater. But it is now connected and set at 67F.
Day 2, removed blowoff tube yesterday. Bubbling much reduced today, temp down from 69 to 66 set raised to 68F.
Day #8, 5/15: Little or no bubbling past many days. Raised temp to 72 and gently shook fermenter. Still no apparent action. Time to move to secondary. |

Moved to secondary fermenter. Gravity was 1.015. Forgot to add dry hops. Temperature 72° . |
