Mashed 5gal. First spare 1 gallon, second spare 1 gallon.
Should have spared more. Liquid was still colored at the end of sparge. |

Boiled 90 min.
Boiled over a bit.
Hops went to plan.
Put Corn sugar in last 5-10 min of boil. Dissolved instantly. |

Pitched Nottingham yeast about 4-5 hours after cool and cooled.

Racked to secondary. Very strong taste. Lots of complex flavors. Almost a alcohol burn upn taste.
Racked on top of whiskey soaked oak chips.
Needs a lot of age. |

Bottled mostly 12oz.
Carbonated to 2.5% with corn sugar.
Taste was a bit odd. Had a fairly strong whiskey taste. A bit of a burn...
I plan on aging this approx 6 months after bottling. |
