Split into a 3 gallon keg and a 2.5 gallon keg. Will add one directly to keezer and commence force carbonation at normal serving temperature (34F) and pressure (10psig). Will store the other keg at 12 psig CO2 and at room temperature (~72F) until needed. I don't expect it to fully carbonate at that pressure but I don't expect it to need venting before moving to the keezer when another tap opens up. |

The Citra hops flavor didn't come through as strong as I had hoped but that could be for a couple reasons: (1) Use of Whirlfloc in the boil and (2) Biofine in the secondary.
The clarity of this beer is excellent but that may have cost some of the hops flavor and aroma. With that said, this is one of the best brews I have done. This brew deserves a dedicated tap on the keezer. |

I love this beer, it is an all around great beer.
The Citra hops aroma and flavor come through lightly in a perfect way to make this a great year round beer. If the hops came through stronger it would likely be a little too hop forward to be truly refreshing on one of the many upcoming hot Atlanta summer days.
Just wish I could get my hands on some Three Floyds Zombie Dust to compare it to. |
