Kok opp en drøy desiliter vann, la kjøle ned til ca 20 grader. Bland inn pose med gjær og la stå i 20-30 minutter. Tøm deretter gjæren opp i gjærkaret med vørter.

Ved utmesking, øk temperaturen til 75 grader. Når temperaturen er nådd tar du ut meskeposen og starter skylling. Husk å skylle med 6 liter vann på ca 75-78 grader.
