This is the pre-boil without the sugar addition. Very good extraction. A bit high on gravity, but the lower boil temps on my equipment will even this out in the end.
Mash went well, but needed a bit more for conversion 90m total. Lautering was perfect and was able to recirculate for the full 170F step leading to incredibly clear wort. |

Keg is nearly gone. This brew cleared up very nicely. Has a bit too much of the Irish red yeast character for me. But others who like Irish red think it is quite nice. |
