Used the 5 gal bucket sleeve to see how a solid side basket would work. Terrible! Stuck sparge and lower efficiency than normal/expected. |

Used ~ 200 mg Potassium Metabisulfite (Campden) after filling keg to scavenge O2, then put on CO2 and purged several times |

This one came out a little drier than the last. Partly because of incomplete conversion and using a solid side basket vs my normal open side basket. Should still be good. |

Doesn't taste bad. A little drier than the laste, but maybe to be expected b/c of the solid side basket experiment. Was a little worried that the out tube of the keg seemed plugged. Flows smoothly now, but beer hasn't dropped clear yet. Still very green. Megan thinks it tastes okay, but yelled at me for trying to rush it. |
