WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

I tried the partial mash done as suggested by Greenbush beer store - start the water boiling while steeping the grains. Once the boil was achieved in the grain, Turned off and covered until 1.5 gal water was boiling. Than added the 1/2 gal plus sparging water (1/2) gal to the wort. Only ran it through the grains 1x because I was already at the max I can boil. Next time I might do 2x sparging.

Transfer to 2ndary was 10/28. Taste was excellent. Final Gravity was 1.012, lower than expected.
