I decided to put 1 15 oz can of pumpkin into bake dish and add half a tsp of spice to a mix and roast in the oven at 350 until brown or 40 minutes. For this 3 gallon recipe I found that the strike water should be around 160-162 to get to 152 mash temps. |

Added 1 tsp of Pumpkin Pie spices at flameout. The OG seems low, when tested some of the pumpkin was on the bottom of vessel to hold sample. Also, grain was only milled once. |

Little almost no spice flavor. Going to add some roasted pumpkin and spices into secondary. |

Racked with half a roasted pumpkin at 150f for an hour with spices on it. then cold crashed after a week. |

1st beer, llittle body and not much spice. tastes appley. from late gord addition i think. needs some malt as well. no vanilla taste. |
