Heat water added to kettle (equipment estimates 19.6 L) 11
Mash volume with grains (equipment estimates 19.6 L) 11.4
Grain absorption losses (steeping) -0.6
Volume increase from sugar/extract (early additions) 1.5
Pre boil volume (equipment estimates 20.5 L) 12
Boil off losses -5.7
Hops absorption losses (first wort, boil, aroma) -0.6
Post boil volume 14.3
Going into fermentor 14.3
WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Batch split into 2x fermentation bins.
1 with a full dried sachet of Mangrove Jacks - Bohemian Pilsner yeast, and 1 with 2/3rd of a US-05 sachet.

Unfortunately, I made a bit of an error, and used 'LME' in the cal, instead of 'DME'. Didn't realise until I got to taking a gravity reading in the fermentors. OG was way higher, due to the concentration of DME over LME. So had to add approximately 1.5L of additional water to each 10L bin to bring the gravity down to 1062.
Due to this the IBU's have also been reduced.
Muppet mistake!

After 5 days I check the gravity of the IPA (1015), then dry hopped it for 3 days, with 50g of Equinox whole leaf. Once done, it was crash cooled for 24 hours at 3deg C.

When the IPA was being crash cooled, the IPL was been moved into the cellar for diacetyl rest at 17deg C for 72 hours.
