Notes

1.Steep grains in 1.55 gallon of water @ 155 degF for 30 min.

  1. Bring water up to 3 gallons and to rolling boil. Add DME, 1st LME, and bittering hops for 60 min.
  2. At 15 min add maltodextrin, whirlfloc tablet, yeast nutrient and wort chiller.
  3. At 10 min add hop addition 2.
  4. At 5 min add hop addition 3 and 2nd LME.
  5. Cool wort to pitching temp. of 65 degF, add remaining water to 5.5 gallons, and pitch yeast.
  6. Primary ferment for 5-7 days then transfer to secondary for 5-7 days.
  7. Bottle carbonate/condition for 4-6 weeks.
