WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Mash grains for 30 minutes. While mashing bring 1 gallons of water to boil. Remove grain bag and place into a strainer. Drain grain "tea" through grains until it runs clear to remove any solids. Add clear grain "tea" to boiling water and bring to a boil. Add DME and return to a boil and follow hop schedule.

Cool to 72 degrees and add enough water to bring to 5 gallons. Aerate wort and pitch yeast. Ferment for 2 - 3 weeks at 69 degrees.

Bottle condition at room temperature for 2 weeks then refrigerate for 1 week.
