- Manufacture date: 6/8/15 -> 88 bil active cells
- 88 bil + 1.5 liter (braukaiser stir plate) = 304 bil
- in between 0.5 pitch rate (253 bil) & 0.75 pitch rate (379 bil) |

- grain @ 74 F + 7 gal @ 167 F = 152 F mash
- water was @ 164 F after adding to mash tun
- left about 2-3 in of room in mash tun, probably just under lid bottom when attached
- @ 152.4 F @ 60 min
- @ 151.3 F @ 17 min, after stir
- @ 151.3 F @ 0 min
- got 4.375 gal first runnings, spilled a little on the floor, didn't try too hard to pull rest out
-First Sparge:
-- added ~4.5 gal @ 175 F? (therm that reads ~+10 f said ~185 F)
-- @ 160.6 F @ 10 min
-- @ 160.5 F @ 0 min
-- got 4.375 gal 2nd runnings
Second Sparge
-- added ~4.5 gal @ 180 F, seemed like more than previous
-- @ 165.3 F @ 10 min
-- @ 165.1 F @ 0 min
-- got 4.625 gal 2nd runnings |

- kept heat stick in during entire boil
- was pretty trubby from kettle
- didn't bother topping up, will ferment from 1.054 to 1.010 = 5.9 % abv
- pitched yeast slurry into 77 F wort |
