- 5 gal @ 166 F + 12.5 lb @ 73 F = 153 F mash
- @ 152.1 F @ 60 min
- @ 150.8 F @ 20 min, stirred, adding in HBoO
- @ 149 F @ 0 min
- sparged with 4 ga 181 F water, @ 164 F for 12 minutes
- got 3 gal first runnings, 4 gal sparge
- added 1 large box (27 oz) of HBoOw/A - a large handful I spilled on the ground after 40 minutes of mash, mashed the last 20 min then did a normal sparge
- there was a definite HBoOw/A smell for the rest of mash and into the boil |

- kept heatstick in until after W.C. addition, probably shouldn't've
- siphoned everything, ahtanum is a bitch like always, only had enough for a 0.75 oz 0 min addition
- sorta murky when stirred
- planning to ferment around 61 F
- wort tasted mostly normal, may have had a bit of plain corn flake taste to it
- got ~70% efficiency pre-honey + 1 qt h2o addition |

- rather cloudy tasted good, hint of cornflake taste at end
- added 1 qt + ~1lb roundy's pure raw organic honey, (jar was 22 oz (weight), ~ 1 cup? in total, used from top to a line ~1/3 of the ways up between 1/4 and 1/2 markers)
- boiled water for a bit, then added honey ~10 minutes after flameout |
