WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Heat 3.5 gal of water to 150F. Place grains into muslin bag and steep for 30 min. Remove bad after 30 min and lightly squeeze the bag. Bring the wort to a boil. Boil for 60 min. Begin hopping with 30 min left in the boil. Use the above rates for hopping. When there is 15 min left in the boil, add the 7lbs of dry malt extract. After all additions are done, chill your wort. Place 2 gallons of water in the fridge to chill. Add this to your fermentor after you have cooled the wort. when everything has cooled to 74 degrees, sprinkle your yeast on top. After fermentation has ended, add 1 oz of Citra hops for 4 days before bottling.
