18.4 Brix, 11.5 gallons into fermenters. Strong caramel flavor profile, which should be perfect for style. A bit hop-forward for the style, but should mellow with age. |

9.9 brix at racking. Forced carbed, but still a bit flat. Has nice maltiness/sweetness, but also enough bitterness to keep it from being cloying. Nice nuttiness and interesting dark fruit. Also, very thick mouth feel. Overall, quite happy with this and I think Kirk will like it. |

Very good overall flavor typical of the style. Not as sweet as Kirk likes it but still quite good. Hop bitterNess is a bit too strong. |
