Notes

This was originally a much more conservative recipe to make an amber ale. Two mistakes happened:

1) I did not use enough water when steeping.
2) I used twice as many hops as I was supposed to.

To save this recipe, I added more DME. I also adjusted the amount of grain in this recipe to reflect the OG.

In the end it turned out as a delicious balanced Scottish Ale.
