Not sure if I can trust this or not and I didn't get good brix samples...they were all over the place. The Tilt read this but then later read 1055 and the temp was always way off. I need to calibrate it next time and use a freshly charged battery!! |

Krausen is gone and airlock is limited. Fementation was held at 51F but now has risen to 55.4.
Probably should figure out a way to get a sample for gravity, perhaps sanitize an auto siphon? |

Warmed the hydrometer in 60F star san prior to sample so hopefully it is somewhat accurate. Took two readings and they both come in at 1018, or possibly 1019.
If 1.061 is an accurate OG, should be 5.6% ABV. Tasted a small sample and it seemed pretty good, though my nose is plugged up. I don't think I tasted anything burnt. Should be able to rack it off to secondary on ~Feb1st. |
