Notes
  1. Bring 3 gal water to a boil.

  2. Add 1lb Caramel Crystal + .75oz Hallertau

  3. At 40 minutes add steeping grains, 1lb sparkling amber.

  4. At 50 minutes, add flavorings & 4lb Munich.

  5. Remove from heat. Let chill to 170. Add extra water if needed to bring temperature down.

  6. Steep aroma hops at 170 for 10 addtl. minutes.

  7. Let cool, pitch yeast and add 3tsp vanilla extract.
