Notes

This recipe was created with the intention to create a beer very similar to 10 Barrel's Sinistor Black. The description 10 Barrel gives to their beer is:
"Light-bodied and smooth with hints of chocolate"
"Brewed with German de-husked black malt for rich color and mellow taste"
5.7% ABV
17 IBU
(ref: https://10barrel.com/beer/sinistor-black/)

This recipe is also intended to adhere to the BJCP style 2c. Black Lager, however the SRM is higher than the style allows.
https://www.bjcp.org/style/2015/2/2C/international-dark-lager/

This beer results in light-body and distinct toasted and chocolate notes with no discernable astringency.
